TEXAS – Amanda Crawford, CIO and executive director of the Department of Information Resources (DIR), has been named president of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO).
Crawford, who most recently served as vice president, will replace James Weaver, secretary and CIO of the North Carolina Department of IT.
J.R. Sloan, CIO of the state of Arizona, will be the association’s vice president; and Alan Fuller, CIO of the state of Utah, will be secretary/treasurer.
Crawford has also served as secretary/treasurer and an executive committee member of NASCIO.
