Florida – Ken Cassel has been selected as Dundee’s next town manager following a unanimous vote. Cassel, coming from Westlake in Palm Beach County, where he had served as city manager since its incorporation in 2016, will oversee town activities, including budgets, projects and other initiatives managed through the town manager office.
Tennessee – Andy Holt has been appointed a commissioner for the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. Holt will assume the role following the retirement of previous commissioner Dr. Charlie Hatcher, effective Oct. 1.
Kentucky – John Wainwright has been selected as the first city administrator for the city of Walton. Wainwright will manage several vital city initiatives, including policymaking and representing the city at county and state meetings.
Washington – Gretchen Peri has been announced as the next state chief information officer for Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech). Peri brings more than 25 years of experience in government technology, strategy and consulting. Her expertise will play a central role in advancing WaTech’s digital transformation efforts across the state.
Arizona – Christine Mackay has been announced as the new president and CEO for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council Board of Directors. Assuming the role effective Oct. 13, Mackay will enter the role with nearly three decades of experience in economic development.
Vermont – Thomas Renner has been selected to lead as interim mayor for Winooski until the 2026 Town Meeting Day election next year. Renner will step down from his role as a city council member to lead the city.
North Carolina – Jade Dundas has been appointed as the next assistant city manager for the city of Asheville. Dundas will assume the role effective immediately, as he had previously served as interim assistant city manager during his recent tenure.
New Hampshire – Mitchel Kloewer has been selected as Franklin’s next city manager, following the tenures of two short-lived predecessors. Kloewer, a military veteran with 28 years in the U.S. Navy, will lead the city through several pressing issues, including a budget and steps to move the city forward.
